Analysis Reports & Member Updates

The US-Taiwan Business Council is committed to providing our members with tactical and strategic advice on how to succeed in the Taiwan market. The Council therefore occasionally publishes reports providing up-to-date analysis on events and developments that affect businesses operating within the triangular U.S.-Taiwan-China relationship. These papers and statements, which include editorials and research reports, are distributed to our members when situations warrant.

We also release reports containing valuable contact information that allow our members to initiate and maintain a relationship with the governments of both the United States and Taiwan.

Many of these statements and reports are available online.

Weekly email bulletins provide comprehensive coverage of political, business, trade, and investment news on a weekly basis, and highlight business opportunities for U.S. companies in Taiwan.

Taiwan Business Bulletin
The Taiwan Business Bulletin is a rich information resource that covers news about the Taiwan economy, politics and government, trade and market issues, energy and the environment, general technology, media and communications, national security matters, and cross-Strait relations. A subscription to the weekly Business Bulletin provides a comprehensive, easy-to-parse digest of Taiwan news pertinent to the U.S. business community. Business Bulletins are distributed on Thursdays.

Taiwan Defense & Security Bulletin
The defense relationship between Taiwan and the United States is one that is highly sensitive and often controversial. The Defense & Security Bulletin contains news on defense procurement, national security issues, the US-Taiwan defense relationship, Taiwan’s emerging indigenous defense industry, and the cross-Strait security environment. A section of the bulletin also covers the Taiwan aerospace market. Defense & Security bulletins are distributed on Tuesdays.
