On April 8, 2024, the US-Taiwan Business Council (USTBC) and the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue (Krach Institute) completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on future partnership and cooperation. Both non-profit organizations recognize the potential of this mutually beneficial strategic partnership, one that would encourage innovation while promoting collaboration between the United States and Taiwan.
Under this MOU, the two parties will work to foster a U.S.-Taiwan bilateral environment conducive to economic growth. The Krach Institute focuses on technology and diplomacy, which aligns well with the USTBC mission of enhancing bilateral trade and investment. The two organizations will collaborate to strengthen the U.S.-Taiwan trusted technology partnership while facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise. USTBC also recognizes the importance of talent development and training and will work with the Taiwan Center for Innovation and Prosperity and the Tech Diplomacy Academy at the Krach Institute to promote top-tier U.S., Taiwan, and international technology talent.
The US-Taiwan Business Council is looking forward to working with the Krach Institute to promote and deepen U.S.-Taiwan relations.
