Statement of Condolences and Support for Taiwan

It was with great sadness that we learned about the horrific Taroko Express train accident in Hualien County, Taiwan on April 2, 2021, where at least 50 people have been confirmed lost in the deadliest train accident in Taiwan in decades.

The US-Taiwan Business Council offers our sincere condolences to the families, friends, and extended communities of the victims of this terrible accident.

USTBC remains a committed partner to the people of Taiwan, and we extend to them our warmest thoughts and sincere wishes for peace and solace during this difficult time.
