Project on U.S., Taiwan, and Semiconductors – A Critical Supply Chain Partnership: Discussion on Economic Implications
April 25, 2023
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm EDT
16th Floor Conference Center
1700 North Moore Street
Arlington, Virginia 22209
The Project 2049 Institute and the US-Taiwan Business Council are undertaking a joint project to examine vulnerabilities in the semiconductor supply chain and potential implications of supply chain disruptions, with a particular focus on Taiwan as a crucial partner for the U.S. in the semiconductor sector.
The two organizations are in the process of preparing a final report for this project, for publication in the summer of 2023. In the meantime, we are convening a panel to discuss the potential economic impact for the United States of a semiconductor supply chain disruption involving Taiwan. We look forward to welcoming an excellent panel of experts to discuss these important issues. We will be meeting in person only in Arlington, Virginia on April 25, 2023 at 2pm.
