On January 31, 2018, the US-Taiwan Business Council and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on future partnership and cooperation, in Taipei, Taiwan. There is a joint agreement to 1) work together to facilitate cooperation in the aerospace and defense industries and 2) exchange valuable information to foster necessary assistance and partnership between the US and Taiwan.
