2018 US-Taiwan Business Forum
The Council and the Taipei Economic & Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) co-host the “U.S.-Taiwan Business Forum,” bringing together business leaders from Taiwan and the United States to examine the future of our bilateral economic and commercial relationship, in Washington, D.C.
This event is a closed-door discussion with business leaders led by Minister without Portfolio John Deng from Taiwan. Participants include members of Taiwan’s visiting business delegation, U.S. private sector representatives and government officials from the U.S. and Taiwan. The discussion, moderated by the President of USTBC Rupert Hammond-Chambers, will review the current U.S. trade policy environment, important areas of economic cooperation and integration between the U.S. and Taiwan economies, and ways to enhance the U.S.-Taiwan economic partnership.
