2019 U.S.-Taiwan Business Summit
On July 5, 2019, The U.S.-Taiwan Business Summit is co-hosted by US-Taiwan Business Council Chairman Michael R. Splinter and by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Participants include Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen and a delegation of senior economic policymakers from Taiwan. The government delegation is accompanied by senior executives from some of Taiwan’s leading companies. The Council and a small group of U.S. companies and members meet and interact with President Tsai and with the delegation, holding substantive discussions on the U.S.-Taiwan-China business relationship. The Office of the President of Taiwan issued a press release detailing her attendance at the Summit.
