On April 4, 2017, Council President Rupert Hammond-Chambers spoke at “Reforming and Prioritizing Arms Sales to Taiwan: Recommendations for the New Administration“, a seminar held by the Heritage Foundation, in Washington, D.C.
On January 16-18, 2017, Council Chairman Paul Wolfowitz, Council President Rupert Hammond-Chambers, members of the Council’s Board of Directors, and members of the Chairman’s Circle traveled to Taiwan to meet with senior members of the Taiwan government to promote bilateral trade and business relations between the United States and Taiwan.
On November 8, The US-Taiwan Business Council and the American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei co-host the Taiwan Wireless & Mobility Conference in Taipei, Taiwan.
On November 7-11, 2016, Council President Rupert Hammond-Chambers traveled to Taiwan to meet with Taiwan government officials and business leaders.
